  • Mobile Application: Patients can browse services, select tests, and complete payments via integrated mobile payment gateways. Upon successful payment, a digital money receipt is automatically generated within the app.
  • Hospital Desktop Interface (Prime MIS): Front-desk executives can manually register patients and handle billing through the Prime MIS software for on-site visits, ensuring all data is centralized.

  • Mobile App Interface: Immediately after registration, a unique barcode is generated within the patient's mobile app. This digital barcode serves as a primary identifier for sample submission.
  • LabPro Integration: Simultaneously, the LabPro software generates a physical barcode label to be used during the collection process, maintaining a 1:1 link between the patient and the specimen.

Sample Collection Procedure

Once the patient presents their digital or physical ID, the phlebotomist proceeds with collection.

  • The technician verifies the patient's identity by scanning the app-generated barcode.
  • The required specimen (blood, urine, etc.) is collected in the appropriate vial, which is then labeled with the system-generated barcode to prevent any manual labeling errors.

Post-Collection Processing & Tracking

After the sample is successfully collected, the following backend actions are triggered.

  • Status Update: The sample status is updated to "Collected" in the LIS real-time dashboard.
  • Routing: The specimen is sorted and routed to the respective department (e.g., Biochemistry, Hematology, or Microbiology) for analysis.
  • Audit Trail: The system logs the exact time of collection and the identity of the technician, ensuring full accountability.

Result Entry & Validation

Once the laboratory analysis is complete.

  • Data Input: Lab technicians enter the test results into the LabPro module. In the case of automated analyzers, results are interfaced directly to the software to eliminate manual entry errors.
  • Verification: A senior pathologist or lab consultant reviews and digitally authorizes the findings to ensure clinical accuracy.
